SCULPTRA® in London

Smooth, firm and restore youthful volume naturally with SCULPTRA®

SCULPTRA® is an injectable collagen stimulator made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). Rather than filling lines or folds directly, SCULPTRA® works by stimulating your body’s own natural collagen production over time, restoring facial structure and volume gradually for a more youthful, refreshed appearance.

Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers that provide instant volume, SCULPTRA® delivers subtle, long-lasting results by rebuilding the skin’s internal scaffolding. Results typically appear over a series of treatments and can last up to two years or more.

It is ideal for patients looking for natural, progressive enhancement in areas that show signs of ageing, such as hollow cheeks, temple loss, jawline softening, or skin laxity on the face and body. SCULPTRA® is also increasingly used off-label in areas such as the décolleté, arms, and buttocks to improve skin firmness and texture.

A course of 2-4 sessions is often recommended for optimal results.

FAQs

SCULPTRA® is made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible synthetic material that’s gradually absorbed by the body while stimulating collagen production.

Most patients require 2 to 4  sessions spaced around 8 weeks apart for optimal collagen stimulation and volume restoration. The number of vials that you will likely need will be discussed at your consultation.

SCULPTRA® works gradually. You may begin to notice subtle improvements within a few weeks, with full results appearing over several months.

Results can last over 2 years, depending on the individual’s skin condition, age, lifestyle and number of treatment sessions.

SCULPTRA® is injected with a fine needle or cannula, and a local anaesthetic is  mixed with the product to reduce discomfort. Most patients report minimal pain.

SCULPTRA® results develop gradually, so changes are subtle and natural-looking. People may comment on how well-rested or refreshed you look, without knowing why.

Yes. SCULPTRA® can be part of a holistic facial rejuvenation plan and is often combined with other injectable or skin treatments.

Avoid alcohol, aspirin or anti-inflammatories for 24-48 hours before treatment to minimise the risk of bruising. Arrive with clean skin.

You’ll be advised to massage the treated area for five minutes, five times a day, for five days. Avoid strenuous exercise and excessive sun or heat exposure for 24-48 hours post-treatment.
