Luxima LED treatment in London
Luxima is a revolutionary gel treatment that is used in conjunction with LED light therapy to rejuvenate and revitalise the look of dull, tired and ageing skin.
Luxima gel is a ‘photo-converter’ which is applied topically to the skin and activated by Dermalux LED light treatment. When Luxima gel comes in contact with the LED, it produces fluorescent light energy (FLE), which generates multiple supercharged wavelengths.
As a result, a 15 minute LED session is 7 times stronger when combined with Luxima.
Luxima gels come in different formulations for different skin concerns and they are activated by the different Dermalux LED light colours to produce the desired results.
The range includes:
Luxima Skin Normaliser – This gel is 80% more effective than LED alone to treat inflammation, which is the combination of the negative effects of ageing and inflammation on the skin. It reduces skin reactivity and stress while revitalising and energising the skin.
Luxima Collagen Booster – This is a collagen banking gel that slows down chrono ageing. The gel stimulates fibroblasts and can increase collagen production by up to 700%. The results are improved skin tone, texture, quality and a reactivated skin matrix.
Luxima age control – A specially designed gel to combat the signs of ageing from deep within by stimulating cellular regeneration. The results are an up to 74% reduction in wrinkles, improved firmness and jaw definition, and a decrease of up to 8 years in skin age.

FAQs
Treatment will Luxima stimulates cellular activity, the skin’s healing response, microcirculation and collagen production. After a treatment plan with Luxima patients will experience a natural glow, less redness and more youthful looking skin. Luxima treatment is non-invasive, pain free and doesn’t require any downtime.
After a deep cleanse the gel is applied to the skin and the Dermalux LED is positioned over the patient. The lights supercharge the Luxima gel which stimulates the cells, in turn improving skin health, texture, tone and quality. The gel is removed and the patient’s skin is infused with moisturisers and protected with SPF.
We recommend a minimum of 5 treatments for patients to get the best results from Luxima. Appointments can be a week or a fortnight apart. After your initial treatment plan is completed we recommend booster treatments every 4 to 12 weeks.
Patients should avoid sun exposure or tanning booths during the course of treatments. Using a sunscreen with a minimum factor 30 SPF is recommended during your course of treatments. An intensive moisturiser is advised for at least a week as the skin may feel drier or tighter after treatment. Patients should avoid retinol and products with glycolic acid for 48 hours post treatment.
Yes, Luxima can be used in conjunction with your other favourite aesthetic treatments such as Botox, dermal fillers and skin treatments like chemical peels and microneedling.
