Consultation Fee

A fee of £50.00 is required to secure your appointment for the consultation with Dr Kate Carr.
The fee is redeemable against any treatments.

If you have paid for a consultation, please be aware that the outcome of the consultation may be information and advice that you are unsuitable for treatment and you will not be entitled to a refund of your consultation fee.

New patients are required to have a consultation appointment with Dr Kate Carr.

Please note consultation fees are non-refundable under any conditions.

Appointments

Please arrive on time for your appointment. New clients are required to complete a consent form and medical history form before any treatment is carried out.

The clinic can run behind schedule. Dr Kate will take the amount of time necessary to provide comprehensive care and attention to every single patient. Sometimes in complicated cases this can result in delays. If the clinic is running late you will not be entitled to a refund or transfer of your deposit.

Review appointments after anti-wrinkle treatments

Must be scheduled within the first four weeks after the treatment.
If you cannot attend within 4 weeks you will be charged for any top ups.

Cancellation or late appointments

Please give 48 hours notice if an appointment needs to be rearranged or an appointment needs to be cancelled. Cancellations can be made by telephone or via email at hello@drkateaesthetics.co.uk

If you fail to turn up for an appointment without letting us know we reserve the right to take the consultation fee for the booking.

Patients who cancel 48 hours prior to their appointment have the opportunity to reschedule their appointment to a suitable day and time.

Promotions

At times Dr Kate Aesthetics may run promotions for her patients. Dr Kate Aesthetics reserves the right to change any aspect of the promotion without notice.

Promotions may have separate terms and conditions applied to them that are not set out here.

Promotional offers are not to be used in conjunction with any other offers unless specifically stated.

All treatments, products and offers are subject to availability.

Treatment outcomes

The aim is to enhance and restore your natural features, not fundamentally change them.

Competition terms and conditions 

Essentials

Essentials Dr Kate Aesthetics is an aesthetic clinic practising at 108 Cockfosters Road, Cockfosters, EN4 0DP. 

The competition is open to all residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, except employees of Dr Kate Aesthetics and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Entries must be made from a public profile as entries from a private profile cannot be verified. To enter you must like the post on instagram and follow the account on instagram – https://www.instagram.com/drkateaestheticsldn/?hl=en . 

You need to tag 3 friends in the comments and sign up the newsletter. The winner will be announced in the newsletter and not announced by any other means. You need to contact us within 7 days of the winner announcement to claim your prize Bonus entry for sharing the post to your story and tagging more than 3 friends Only one entry will be accepted per person, per social media account. Multiple entries on the same platform (ie. the same person entering twice on Facebook) from the same person will be disqualified. 

Closing date for entry will be 29/11/2023 at 11.59pm. After this date the competition will be closed, and no further entries will be permitted. 

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. The rules of the competition and how to enter can be found in the giveaway post, released on the relevant social media platforms (which can be found above). 

Further Information 

Dr Kate Aesthetics reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of our control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Dr Kate Aesthetics. 

Dr Kate Aesthetics is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition. 

The prize is as follows: 1x Forma Skin Tightening Session, Skin analysis with the Observ520x, Dermalux Triwave LED session. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and suitability for treatment and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. The prize is only available with certain practitioners and appointment times are limited to the practitioners working hours and availability. Bonus prize is a one to one consultation with Dr Kate. 

Winners will be chosen at random from all entries received and verified by Dr Kate Aesthetics and or its agents. 

The winner will be notified on the newsletter by email, within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. Dr Kate Aesthetics will notify the winner, and request they contact the clinic to arrange their appointment. Dr Kate Aesthetics decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

 The winner agrees to the use of his/her name in any publicity material, as well as their entry, this will be confirmed upon delivery of the prize. 

Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. You are providing your information to Dr Kate Aesthetics and not to any other party. Dr Kate Aesthetics will verify entries, and confirm the winner, of the competition and decide on the winner within 28 days of the competition close date, from all complete entries via the relevant social media platforms (as found above). 

Dr Kate Aesthetics’s decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into. The entrant must be following Dr Kate Aesthetics on one or all social media platforms: @ drkateaestheticsldn on Instagram. 

Dr Kate Aesthetics shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions. Such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage. Any such changes to the competition will be notified as soon as possible by Dr Kate Aesthetics- using the relevant social media platforms. Dr Kate Aesthetics also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.

Longevity

The effectiveness and longevity of a treatment will vary from person to person, and is influenced by many factors such as age, skin type and condition, sun exposure, lifestyle, metabolism and genetics.

Aftercare

Please be aware that in most cases there will be some initial swelling and that this may last for up to two weeks. The area may be bruised, discoloured, uneven, bumpy, and may also feel sore. Discomfort can be alleviated by applying ice.

Immediate aftercare

• Avoid touching the treated area or applying products for at least 6 hours after treatment.
• Do not expose the area to intense heat (sunbeds, sunbathing), or extreme cold until the initial swelling and redness has subsided.
• Please do not exercise for 48 hours after your procedure. All strenuous exercise should be avoided during this time, as should yoga, as inverted positions may also increase bruising and swelling.
• If you have a history of cold sores (facial herpes), there is a risk that the injection could reactivate the virus and cause another eruption. If you have previously suffered facial herpes, we advise you to take anti-viral medication before your treatment.
• Be aware that taking aspirin or any similar anti-coagulants, may increase the risk of bruising or bleeding at the injection site.

Pre-treatment advice for the day of your appointment

• Ensure treatment area is free of make-up.
• You must arrive on time as arriving over 5 minutes late will incur the loss of your appointment and deposit.
• Pictures will be taken before/after treatment to be used for insurance purposes. We also take photos for Facial Aesthetics’ promotional/social media purposes (subject to your consent).

Results

We cannot guarantee a universally successful result for all our clients, and results vary. Dr Kate Aesthetics will not be held accountable for adverse outcomes or permanent damage such as bleeding, bruising, infection, numbness, scarring, lumps or necrosis.

Refunds, booking terms and prices

We do not offer refunds or free corrections. Additional changes or adjustments will be charged at full cost and a new appointment will need to be scheduled.

Prices are subject to change at any time. It is your responsibility to check this.

By booking an appointment and going ahead with treatment, you have hereby acknowledged and agreed to the above and accept any loss of deposit as a result. Deposits are not refundable under any circumstances.

We reserve the right to refuse our service

Website

You will not use the website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Term and Conditions. By using the website you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions you must immediately stop using the website.

Advice

The contents of the website do not constitute advice and should not be relied upon in making or refraining from making any decision.

Changes to website

Dr Kate Aesthetics reserves the right to change or remove (temporarily or permanently) the website or any part of it without notice and you confirm that Dr Kate aesthetics shall not be liable to you for any such change or removal; and change these Terms and Conditions at any time and your continued use of the Website following any changes shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change.

The website may include links to third party websites that are controlled and maintained by others. Any link to other websites is not an endorsement of such websites and you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the content or availability of any such sites.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any representation or endorsement made and without warranty of any kind whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non -infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy.
