Skin Boosters in London

Redensity 1 skin boosters are injectable treatments designed to improve hydration, radiance and overall skin quality without significantly changing the natural contours of the face.

Redensity 1 contains hyaluronic acid alongside a combination of amino acids, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Rather than being used primarily to create volume or reshape facial features, it is injected into the skin to improve hydration and support a smoother, fresher-looking complexion.

At Dr Kate Aesthetics, we also offer BabyGLOW, a specific treatment technique using Redensity 1. BabyGLOW uses carefully selected injection points across the face to distribute Redensity 1 beneath the skin, with the aim of creating more even hydration and improving overall skin radiance.

Redensity 1 Skin Booster
How to Reduce Stress Through Skincare

Redensity 1 Skin Boosters Can Help With:

Skin Hydration: Hyaluronic acid attracts and retains water within the skin, helping dry or dehydrated skin feel softer, smoother and more supple.

Glow Enhancement: Improving hydration and skin quality can help dull or tired-looking skin appear fresher and more radiant.

Fine Lines: By improving hydration and skin quality, Redensity 1 can help soften the appearance of fine lines, particularly where dehydration is contributing to their visibility.

Natural-Looking Results: Redensity 1 focuses on improving the quality of the skin rather than significantly altering facial volume or contours.

BabyGLOW: BabyGLOW offers a specific way of delivering Redensity 1 across the face. The technique is designed to distribute the product evenly beneath the skin, helping to improve hydration, smoothness and radiance while maintaining your natural facial features.

Quick and Easy: Treatment typically takes around 45 minutes. You can usually return to most normal activities afterwards, although temporary bumps, swelling or bruising can occur around the injection points.

FAQs

Skin boosters are injectable treatments used when the priority is improving the condition and appearance of the skin itself. They can be considered for patients noticing changes such as dehydration, dullness, fine lines or a loss of that healthy, rested appearance.

Treatment is not limited to the face. Redensity 1 can also be considered for areas such as the neck, décolletage and hands, where the skin can become thinner, drier or more finely lined over time. Your treatment plan will be adapted to the area and condition of your skin.

Your appointment begins with an assessment of your skin and a discussion about what you would like to improve. The skin is prepared and Redensity 1 is then administered using an injection technique selected for the area being treated. Local anaesthetic can be used to help keep treatment comfortable.

BabyGLOW is a facial protocol developed by Teoxane using Redensity 1. Rather than multiple superficial injections across the entire face, the technique uses strategically selected injection points on each side of the face. It can be an option for patients who want a whole-face approach to improving the appearance of their skin without changing their facial proportions.

They are not two different injectable products. Redensity 1 is the product used for treatment, while BabyGLOW describes a particular method of administering it to the face. This means we can select the technique according to your skin, the area being treated and what you would like to achieve.

Although Redensity 1 and dermal fillers can both contain hyaluronic acid, they are used differently. Dermal fillers are typically selected when we want to address volume, shape or facial structure. A skin booster is chosen when the treatment priority is the skin itself.

The intention of Redensity 1 treatment is not to noticeably reshape or volumise your face. If you are concerned about facial volume loss, this will be assessed separately so we can determine whether a skin booster, dermal filler or another treatment approach is more appropriate.

The benefits will depend on the starting condition of your skin. Patients may choose treatment because their skin feels dehydrated, looks dull or tired, or is beginning to show fine lines and changes in texture. Your consultation allows us to establish whether a skin booster is likely to address the concerns you have.

There is no single treatment schedule that is right for everyone. The recommended frequency will depend on factors including your skin condition, age, treatment area and previous treatments. Once we have assessed your skin, we can advise whether you would benefit from a course of treatments and how maintenance could be approached.

The amount of Redensity 1 required varies considerably between patients. Treating a small area may require less product than treating the full face, neck or multiple areas. We will explain how much product we recommend, and why, before your treatment begins.

You may notice some evidence of the injections immediately afterwards, including redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising or small raised areas. These effects are usually temporary, but it is sensible to allow for the possibility of several days of visible recovery, particularly if you have an important event coming up.
