What is Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 is a device that uses micro needling combined with radio frequency energy to restore the skin back to its former youthfulness by stimulating the production of collagen. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin the building blocks reorganise themselves in a natural anti-ageing process.
The treatment, which Hollywood celebrity Kim Kardashian used as one of her favourite treatments, penetrates deep into the skin and fat for a smoother and sleeker appearance – the equivalent of a non-surgical lift. There is little to no damage to the skin and the treatment provides a very uniform effect.

Is the treatment painful?
At Dr Kate’s clinic, a special numbing protocol is used. Morpheus8 can cause some discomfort depending on the individual’s pain threshold but we can provide numbing cream, or use the ICool machine.
What areas can be treated?
Morpheus8 can be used on any area of the face and body that can benefit from skin renewal. It firms and tightens, reducing wrinkles, discolouration and acne scarring. The most commonly treated areas are the face and neck, as well as the tummy area which would benefit from tightening loose skin that has fatty tissue.
How many treatments will I need?
You will need three treatments, four to six weeks apart and then one top-up annually.
When will I see results?
Visible results can be seen within a couple of days but usually after three weeks the most noticeable results appear and will continue to improve over the following three months.
What is the benefit of radio frequency energy?
Radiofrequency energy is scientifically proven to reduce wrinkles and rebuild the collagen and fat in your skin. It is minimally invasive using an array of micro-pins to restore deeper layers of your skin with hardly any downtime.
Can anyone have the Morpheus8 treatment?

Can I put makeup on after my treatment?
Makeup can be applied 1 to 2 days after treatment. Microlesions and slight redness will be seen for up to a week after your treatment.
What is the necessary skincare after my treatment?
You should moisturise and avoid sun exposure and use a good high-factor sun cream every day.
